DOME
The Dome property is prospective for epithermal and mesothermal deposits.
An impressive history of gold and silver production in the Beaverdell Mineral Field over more than 100 years drives BUKX to deliver discovery of further rich deposits. Specifically, the Dome property covers historic workings of the Nepanee Prospect, worked intermittently between 1904 to 1935, producing very high grade gold and silver ore.
The Dome project lies within a graben-derived terrane consisting of Triassic-Jurassic volcanics and sediments enclosed within, and intruded by, Jurassic-Cretaceous and Tertiary granitic rocks.Broadly, project geology can be shown as:
Pre-Jurassic - Quesnellia Terrane – Wallace Formation
a.Wallace Formation undivided
b. Crouse Creek Greenstone Member
c. Larse Creek Limestone Member- Jurassic - West Kettle batholiths
- Tertiary - Various intrusive stocks
a. Beaverdell stock
b. Eugene Creek stock
c. Tuzo Creek stock - Tertiary - Late stage cross-cutting porphyry dykes
